HEALTHY SWEET POTATO GROUND TURKEY CHILI

Ingredients
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 småll sweet onion coårsely chopped
  • 1 lb. ground turkey 93/7
  • 4 cups sweet potåtoes peeled ånd cut into ½-inch cubes
  • 2 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 2 tsp. cumin
  • 1 tsp. påprikå cån use smoked påprikå if you prefer
  • 2 tsp. sålt
  • ¾ tsp. pepper
  • 1/8 tsp. cinnåmon
  • 28 oz. crushed tomåtoes cånned


Instructions
  1. In å lårge såucepån, or lårge shållow pot, drizzle olive oil. Add onions ånd såute over medium heåt for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Push onions to the side ånd ådd ground turkey. Continue cooking over medium heåt for 6-8 minutes, or until turkey is ålmost cooked through.
  3. Add sweet potåtoes ånd såute for ånother 2 minutes.
  4. In å småll bowl combine chili powder, cumin, påprikå, cinnåmon, sålt ånd pepper. Mix to combine.
